Harwich Beach Cottage

I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time. It was a little chilly at first...but, it either warmed up or we just got used to it. The house was terrific and couldn't have suited us any better. I had to hide the teddy bear in one of the closests because I was afraid Jack would try to take it home with him. He slept with it every night.

I can't believe our vacation is already over. Joe's Mom and stepfather joined us at the Cape. They also had a great time and wanted me to tell you that the house was terrific. It was very warm and cozy, well decorated and just plain relaxing. So, thank you again from all of us.

I'm looking forward to visiting again next year.

You and your wife have done a fabulous job renovating and decorating the house! It's just delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was very thoughtful of you to provide the Cape Cod atlas and other information about the house, Harwich, and the Cape, all of which came in very handy as we settled in and plotted out our stay. We greatly appreciated having the use of your beach chairs. The house was very clean when we arrived.

We also enjoyed having access to your collection of CDs, books, movies, and games. We found that the kitchen had all the tools we needed for us to cook, and it was nice to have the grill and picnic table outside for outdoor cooking and eating. We enjoyed using the outdoor shower, especially after a beach outing. You have obviously put a tremendous of care into setting up the house and we tried to take care of it as if it were our own. We enjoyed our trip so much that we are definitely thinking of going back to the Cape next summer, and would certainly be interested in the possibility of renting your house again if it were available.

Hi there, we are back from the Cape and had a good time. Your home is delightful and so comfortable. We loved the outside shower, you are right it is fun! We did leave a day early because the weather was not co-operating (oh well, you can't control everything).

We did follow some of your dining recommendations. We all loved Pisces, great flavors and very accommodating even with the kids. Buca was a good one too.

We just came back from our vacation yesterday and wanted to tell you what a wonderful house you have!

It was truly a memorable vacation. You have really made the house feel so comfortable and inviting. Our favorite thing to do was sit outside in the shade in the afternoon. The kids loved the grassy area to throw around the baseball.

We went to Buca's restaurant for dinner. After having lived in NYC for 12 years, I thought that I had had good Italian food but that meal was one of the best! Great recommendation.

We are definitely interested in reserving a week, maybe two, next summer, preferably the same week. When you start thinking of next years plans please let us know!

We had a WONDERFUL week. Your house was absolutely perfect for our family. We walked to the beach everyday, toured the neighboring towns, and just relaxed! Thanks so much for helping to make our summer vacation so great.

I can't believe our week here is ending already. It went way too fast. I wanted to write and say what a beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable home you have here on the Cape. It was such a treat for us to rent a real home and not the usual vacation shack! (And, did we get lucky with the weather - I've never had such perfect weather on the Cape ever.)
